MEET THE ARTIST

My name is Anita Barão, and I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Art has always been a central part of my life, and I am classically trained in Fine Arts. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Paier College of Art in 2009, where I developed a strong foundation in traditional drawing and painting techniques.

Animals have always been the subject I am most drawn to. I love capturing not only the physical likeness of a pet, but also their unique personality and character — the little details that make each animal special. Creating portraits that feel alive and meaningful is what inspires my work the most.

There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when they see their beloved pet’s portrait for the first time. I understand how deeply pets are loved and how important they are as members of the family. It would be an honor to create a one-of-a-kind portrait of your fur-baby that you can cherish for years to come.

When you commission a pet portrait from me, please know that I put great care, time, and attention into every painting. Each piece is created with love and dedication, which is why I typically book about one month in advance.
